Rapper Pitbull is preparing an unprecedented event for his upcoming concert at the BST Hyde Park festival in London. The artist announced that he is seeking volunteers to help him break the world record for the largest number of people wearing fake bald caps gathered in one place. The historic event will take place on July 10, 2026.

The initiative, driven together with festival organizers, needs a “squad of legendary volunteers” to count the caps that simulate baldness among the crowd. A joint post on Instagram invited fans to make history: “Your mission is to count the bald people with shiny heads in the crowd and help us make it official.”

The call is directed to both people who have tickets and those who wish to help with logistics. Those interested in participating as volunteers must register through the official BST website. The goal is to surpass any previous record in the Guinness World Records.

How Did the Idea for the World Record with Fake Bald Caps Come About?

The idea to break this record stems from a fun trend at Pitbull’s concerts. His attendees typically wear a fake bald cap, dark sunglasses, white shirt and black tie to imitate the look that has characterized the artist since the beginning of his career. This custom inspired a British radio host to propose the official challenge.
