Shakira reached a new record on YouTube following the release of “Dai Dai”, the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup performed alongside Burna Boy. The music video, which premiered on Saturday, May 23 and was filmed in Miami, surpassed 10 million views in its first 24 hours.
The video remains the most-watched on the platform according to YouTube Charts global rankings. The production is part of the countdown to the tournament that will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Within hours of its premiere, the music video accumulated nearly 20 million views, over one million “likes” and more than 70,000 comments on YouTube.
Shakira reacted to the song’s performance through her social networks. “The #1 most viewed video on YouTube in the last 24 hours with over 10 million views! Thank you to everyone around the world for making this a historic moment for music and soccer fans! I love you!”, wrote the Colombian artist.
Where and How Was the Dai Dai Video Filmed?
The video, more than four minutes long, includes visual references to soccer and the participation of sports figures. The audiovisual production was entirely filmed in the city of Miami, United States, using locations that simulate urban soccer fields and stadiums in preparation for the world tournament.
