The International Federation of Football and the streaming platform DAZN announced Thursday the launch of FIFA+. This strategic alliance promises to transform global soccer access for millions of fans worldwide. The platform will broadcast approximately 8,500 soccer matches live from leagues across every corner of the planet.

The main objective of this collaboration is to facilitate access and promote connection among fans worldwide. According to the official FIFA statement, the massive offering is aimed at democratizing global sports content. In this sense, this will allow people without economic resources to enjoy professional soccer at no cost.

Beyond the direct benefit for viewers, FIFA+ arriving on DAZN will function as an international showcase of great institutional value. This new exclusive service will integrate directly within DAZN’s web ecosystem to offer live broadcasts. Users will be able to access matches without needing to pay monthly fees or expensive subscriptions.

What Does FIFA+ Offer Soccer Fans?

The platform will broadcast a vast lineup of approximately 8,500 soccer matches live from multiple continents. This number represents a historic amount of free broadcasts available to Latin American and global fans. The leagues include competitions from Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and North America with complete diversity.

The service will allow different national federations to connect effectively with completely new and emerging audiences. Federations will be able to expand their reach to countries where soccer had low penetration previously. This will especially benefit developing countries with economic limitations for accessing professional soccer.

According to DAZN, integration within the web ecosystem enables live broadcasts at no cost for registered users. Fans will need only a free account on the platform to access the 8,500 available matches. No additional payments or credit cards will be required to view complete sports content.

On the other hand, the democratization of sports content allows low-income Latin American families to access soccer without economic barriers. Marginalized communities will be able to follow their favorite teams from Latin America and other regions without prohibitive costs. This represents a significant change from traditional streaming platforms with elevated prices.
