The race for the Los Angeles mayor’s office is heading toward an unprecedented runoff. Spencer Pratt and Karen Bass will be the main contenders in November. Pratt finished second in the primary and secured a runoff against the current mayor.

In an election marked by citizen discontent, Pratt managed to establish himself as a serious candidate. The former entertainment figure is a political newcomer. However, he will face Bass with renewed momentum and massive digital resources.

Karen Bass, the sitting mayor, secured her spot on the November ballot. The candidate is backed by the city’s major unions and business leaders. Pratt surpassed Councilwoman Nithya Raman and 11 other candidates in the primary.

What Does Spencer Pratt Say About Advancing to the Runoff?

Pratt declared that he has five months to prove he is the right mayor. During a press conference, he stated that he is ready for whatever God puts before him. His team is seeking to build the best team the city has ever had.

In conversations with local media outlets like CBS LA, Pratt underscored his full confidence in voters. “I’m going to show them that I can surround myself with the best team the city has ever had,” Pratt said. Pratt’s campaign is characterized by direct and constant communication.
