A Hispanic content creator faces a complex legal situation in California after being named in a serious criminal case. Los Angeles County authorities formally accused the young woman, her father, and her romantic partner at the time. The group is suspected of organizing a plot to end the life of a well-known musical artist. The affected artist is also the father of the defendant’s 7-year-old daughter.

The primary defendant in the criminal case is Gabriela González, 25 years old, known on digital platforms as Gabbie González. The district attorney charged her with serious felonies including attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and direct solicitation of murder. The severity of the charges has shocked the Latino community with the disturbing details emerging from the police investigation process.

The case began through an extensive investigation conducted in its initial stages by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, known by its acronym FBI. Subsequently, the case was transferred to local authorities for the formal presentation of criminal charges to the court. Who are the suspects and what is the motive behind the alleged murder-for-hire?

According to official statements from the district attorney, the alleged victim of the plot is professional American singer Jack Avery. The artist is recognized in the music industry for having been a member of the youth pop group Why Don’t We. Investigations suggest that Gabriela González was engaged in an intense and bitter legal dispute over custody of the daughter she shares with the singer.

In addition to the content creator, the court presented the same criminal charges against her father, Francisco González, who practices as a lawyer in Florida. The third defendant in the case is Kai Faron Cordrey, identified as the influencer’s boyfriend during the period in question. District Attorney Nathan Hochman publicly lamented that a family man allegedly helped his daughter break the law in such a dark manner.

The influencer, who has nearly one million combined followers between TikTok and Instagram, appeared in court in Los Angeles this week. Court documents suggest that González considered it more economical to physically eliminate Avery than to continue financing the costly legal battle over the child. This chilling line of investigation reveals the cold manner in which the attack was allegedly planned in the California metropolis.

How did the payment network operate and what role did the undercover agent play in the investigation?

Court documents specify that murder-for-hire planning activities developed continuously between 2020 and 2021. During that time, Kai Faron Cordrey actively operated as the primary intermediary to find someone to execute the crime. In April 2021, Francisco González allegedly sent an initial deposit of 10,000 dollars to Cordrey to begin the search for the perpetrator.

Subsequently, two months after the initial advance, Cordrey requested and
